Mama K’s is the right choice for your next gathering.
Are you ‘Mama K’?
🌶️ Yes.
How did Mama K’s come to be?
🌶️ Born in Edmonton and raised in Mannville, my upbringing on my stepdad’s family farm instilled in me a deep appreciation for fresh, homemade food. My parents juggled full-time jobs while tending to our large garden, where my passion for canning fresh veggies and fruits began. Some of my happiest memories are of baking treats and making pierogies with my mom, filled with laughter and love—although I wasn’t a fan of weeding the garden!
After moving out, I continued my family’s tradition, making jelly, pickles, borscht, relishes, and of course, homemade salsa. What started as a single flavor for family and friends grew into 12 delicious varieties. In 2020, with the encouragement of my children and friends, I launched Mama K’s Salsa. My kids even helped name the business and tasted countless batches until we perfected the flavors. Bless their hearts!
